Pamela Anderson was born on July 1, 1967 in Ladysmith, Canada and because she was the first baby to be born on Canada's centennial day that year she was awarded the title of 'The Centennial Baby' and her family were awarded cash prizes and awards.
Later a photographer took a photograph of her sitting in a library and it was so admired that the picture was placed in every library in British Columbia.
In 1988 her face appeared face appeared on the big screen at a football game and the crowd went wild. This didn't go unnoticed by the beer company Labatt who hired her as a model after which her photos appeared in bars and restaurants all over Canada.
In 1989 Pamela appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine and then on several TV shows which culminated in her getting the part of CJ in Baywatch.
