Chu Mei-feng was a Taiwanese politician that became famous in December 2001 when a home video of her having wild sex with a well known married man was distributed on CD by a Taiwan magazine named ‘Scoop Weekly’.

Chu was a Taipei city councilor at the time as well as an ex-TV journalist and the release of the video caused an immediate commotion, and the tape was quickly disseminated via the Internet.

Chu, sued ‘Scoop Weekly’ for libel, invasion of privacy and distribution of obscenity on December 31, 2001, in spite of the fact that such an action meant that she was thereby admitting her earlier sexual relations with Tseng Chung-Ming and that Tseng's wife would later be eligible to sue her for adultery.
