Alana Dante is a singer that was born on December 1st, 1969 in Belgium and she started performing at karaoke clubs, discos and night clubs after leaving school.
Her real career didn't really take off however until 1997 when she had some success with a dance version of Céline Dion's song, 'Think Twice'.
She was then taken under the wing of producer Peter Neefs who was the person behind the Belgian dance project, 'Touch Of Joy and Alana's big break came in 1998 when she had a hit with 'Take Me For A Ride'.
Her follow up single, 'The Life of the Party' became a huge hit and led to the release of release of a full album entitled 'Disco-Suppa-Girl' which was very rapturously received by her fans. The majority of the tracks on the album are dance tracks and they all have a catchy and easy to remember melody.
